This painting depicts Jean Michel as the sun…..the first time I saw his paintings it was as though the sun shone for the first time on a cloudy day…..
The joy and delight I felt could only be compared to our first trip to Paris and entering the George Pompidou museum (that’s what it was called at that time) and bursting into tears at the sight of the great impressionists work, as though somehow I belonged there.
